Let\u2019s create a Virtual Kubernetes cluster with MongoDB installed in it in just 70 Seconds with Klusternetes(KNTS)<\/p>\n

Introduction\u00a0:<\/h4>\n

MongoDB:<\/em><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

MongoDB is a document database with the scalability and flexibility that you want with the querying and indexing that you need.<\/p>\n

Klusternetes<\/em><\/strong>:<\/a><\/p>\n

Klusternetes is a platform that allows you to create a Kubernetes<\/a> cluster in a few seconds. It also provides some of the leading DevOps<\/a> tools as add-ons while creating your Cluster and provides a Service URL for add-ons that have UI.<\/p>\n

Steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Login to the klusternetes<\/a> App. If you don\u2019t have an account in the Klusternetes app check here<\/a> to create one<\/p>\n

Click on \u201cAdd cluster\u201d in the top right corner which will lead you to a cluster creation page. Fill in the necessary fields and select a medium cluster and click next.<\/p>\n

It will lead you to the Features page, go to the Database section, and select MongoDB. Here comes the best feature of Klusternetes, we can edit the configuration of the add-ons. So, now click on \u201cEdit configuration\u201d<\/p>\n

Here you can change the password of the MongoDB application or if you want to edit more configurations you can click on Edit YAML at the top and can edit the field which you want.<\/p>\n

After editing the config as you want click on the \u201cSave configuration\u201d button and then click on the \u201cSubmit\u201d Button.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s it, you created a Klusternetes cluster with MongoDB installed in it. Now you can download the kubeconfig of the cluster by clicking on the download button. It will show you the command\u2019s to download.<\/p>\n

You can get the download option even on your cluster list page. Click on \u201cDone\u201d. Now you will be on the main page of your account. Here is the list of clusters that you created and information about your cluster.<\/p>\n

Click on the \u201c+\u201d icon near your cluster, you can see two columns one is for an overview of the cluster and the other is for Add-on.<\/p>\n

Activate the cluster with those 3 commands from the download button.<\/p>\n

Now check if your pods are up with this command<\/p>\n

kubectl get<\/span> pods<\/span><\/pre>\n
After your pods are up and running export your password and run a client for your MongoDB by running these commands.<\/p>\n

Now you will be inside your client. Now you need to log in to your primary account with this command<\/p>\n
mongo admin --host \"mongodb\"<\/span> --authenticationDatabase admin -u root -p $MONGODB_ROOT_PASSWORD<\/span><\/span><\/pre>\n
Now you can run all the commands that you can run for MongoDB like \u201cdb.runCommand( { hello: 1 } )\u201d <\/em>etc.<\/p>\n
